Carmen Whittaker
Carmen left a long and distinguished military career after serving in the New Zealand Defence Force both at home and overseas, and it was during her travels that she developed an interest in the health and well-being of people and their feet.
Carmen’s podiatry experience includes working in a variety of podiatry clinics in the greater Auckland region, being a technical shoes sales rep and the lead podiatrist for a number of rest homes & retirement villages in the wider Auckland area.
Carmen has recently expanded her foot care knowledge to include a more mycotic focus, lasering nails using the latest in lasering techniques. Carmens’ primary focus is now taking care of the elderly in their own homes with personalised private house calls and providing podiatric care to New Zealand War Veterans.
Carmen is registered with the New Zealand Podiatrists Board and holds a current Annual Practicing Certificate. She is known to be gentle with her customers and pays attention to aiding her clients in staying mobile and on their feet.
Carmen is our senior podiatrist and completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) in 2013.
